Conveyancing Plus has been operating in the Northern Territory of Australia since 1993.  The Principal and Owner of Conveyancing Plus is Nicholas Thomas, who has been in the business of Conveyancing since 1964, both in New Zealand and Australia.   

Nick and all of the staff at Conveyancing Plus are legally trained.  Nick arrived in the Northern Territory in 1992 and has worked at the largest legal firm, Cridlands, before commencing business on his own in 1985. Since that time Nick has been actively engaged in the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (AIC), of which he is a Fellow Member. As a member of the National Council of the AIC for many years, he has been pursuing the goal of conveyancing licensing in all states of Australia and in New Zealand.

Nick is currently licensed to practise in the Northern Territory, South Australia and New Zealand. His interest is in the education of the profession and he has been actively involved in lecturing property law, both to conveyancing and real estate students. He has also been involved in the development of the national competency standards for conveyancers.

Furthermore, Nick is an associate of the Institute of Legal Executives, New Zealand and the Institute of Arbitrators Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (Victoria) and has studied Law at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and the Northern Territory University (but he is not a lawyer).
